Mont Clair Casino Hotel

Dining

A table that suits a quiet morning or a long evening.

Dining at Mont Clair follows the same restraint as the rooms above it: a short, changing menu built on Ontario produce, served without ceremony from early morning through late in the evening.

Culinary Philosophy

Seasonal, unfussy, close to home.

The kitchen builds each week’s menu around what is genuinely in season across Ontario, rather than around a fixed signature dish. Produce, fish and grain are sourced with a preference for shorter supply chains, and preparation stays direct: a few excellent ingredients, cooked with care and served without excess garnish.

We do not claim any award or star rating for the dining programme. What we can promise is a kitchen that takes the same quiet approach to food as the rest of the building does to its interiors.

Through the Day

From the first coffee to the last pour.

Morning

Breakfast & coffee

Fresh pastry, a short hot-breakfast menu and strong coffee, served in a quiet room that opens gently rather than loudly. Hours are set locally and shown at the hotel — treat any time mentioned here as an illustrative placeholder.

Evening

The main dining room

A short, changing menu served across the main evening window, built around Ontario produce and cooked with minimal intervention. Reservations are recommended, particularly on weekend evenings when the room fills alongside the casino floor.

Late

Lounge & bar

Wine, spirits and a short cocktail list served alongside the entertainment programme, for guests who prefer a slower, quieter finish to the evening.

Private Dining & Requests

A room for smaller, quieter gatherings.

A private dining room is available on request for smaller groups who would prefer a setting apart from the main room. It follows the same seasonal menu, adjusted in scale for the size of your party.

Dietary requests — vegetarian, vegan, gluten-avoidant or otherwise — are handled directly with the kitchen. Please mention any requirement when you book so the evening’s menu can be adjusted ahead of your arrival.

Dress & etiquette

Smart-casual is comfortable throughout the dining room and lounge. We ask that guests keep phone calls and photography considerate of neighbouring tables, particularly in the evening.

Hours

Breakfast, lunch and dinner service times are configured locally by the hotel and may vary by season. Please confirm current hours directly before you travel.
